Dr. Timothy Tiutan, known as “Dr. Tim” (@doctortim.md), is a renowned physician and leading voice in public health. From his humble beginnings as a Filipino-Chinese immigrant to becoming a prominent medical figure, Dr. Tim blends his clinical expertise with his talent for making health education accessible globally.
Dr. Tim attended the University of Arizona where he graduated with honors and degrees in Physiology and Spanish Linguistics, along with his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). He then completed his training at one of the top internal medicine residency programs in the country, New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell in New York City, NY. With an emphasis on cancer research, he has published multiple articles and has had his research presented at medical conferences internationally.
He currently practices oncology hospital medicine as a board-certified internal medicine physician at one of the top cancer institutions in the world, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and is an assistant professor at a top-tier medical school, Weill Cornell Medical College. Through his various roles, Dr. Tim educates and mentors pre-medical students, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
